Many Astrologers consider an eclipse to be a new or full moon on steroids. Eclipse are either culminations to events in your life or just the opposite, new beginnings. But they are always creating lots of change in your life that you cannot control, and in fact, cause you to move on and never return to your life as it was. Many times the events happen after the eclipse, but changes or happenings can come unexpectedly up to four days before the eclipse.
The following are a few details on eclipses quoted from Susan Miller. Author of www.astrologyzone.com,
“A solar eclipse occurs when the moon stands between the Sun and the Earth, cutting off the light of the Sun. A solar eclipse is always a new moon and in astrology tends to mark new beginnings.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth stands between the moon and the Sun, cutting off the light of the Sun from the moon. A lunar eclipse is always a full moon and usually marks endings or culmination points.
Solar Eclipse changes could come gradually or suddenly. Still, the news or timing of those changes often comes as a surprise. If a solar eclipse falls on or within a few days of your birthday, you will certainly feel the effects of it over the course of the year.
Eclipses come in pairs, always as a new moon and full moon two weeks apart and come up every five-and-a-half months in one family of sign, for example, Pisces-Virgo, which it is in now. The coming March 20th Eclipse is in Pisces.
Eclipses are dramatic “Wild Cards” in our horoscopes that we don’t see coming. They shake us up so that we can move from one level of maturity to another, very rapidly. They will provide whatever we need to get moving – a competitor, a rival or critic, a benefactor, funding, or some other force – that get us to think, decide, or change.”
Good luck with your life changes this week, I hope you are willing to look forward and not try to go back, because you will not be able to after the eclipse.

One final word: I mentioned a month ago about my certification teacher, Linda Backman, PhD, being featured on the Dr. Oz program. Now the episode is on his program’s website:
When you go to the video, her portion is only a few minutes. But if you will let it end and listen to a break commercial, the next video will come on about the second segment of Dr. Oz’s program on Past Life Regression. He interviews a neurosurgeon on fascinating research the surgeon is doing on the brain concerning the memories of past lives and how it effects our lives today. Stay and watch!
